How it works

This page uses the ZXing library for reliable QR code decoding from uploaded image files. It supports standard otpauth:// provisioning URIs as well as Google Authenticator export QR codes (otpauth-migration://). Migration QR codes are decoded and the first contained account is shown.

The decoder extracts and displays the label, issuer, account name, Base32 secret, algorithm, digits, and period so you can re‑enter them elsewhere.

Privacy: All decoding and parsing happen locally in your browser; no data is sent anywhere.
